Another good week for me down here in Chile. The 100 degree weather is not as bad as I thought it would be

SOME STUFF WE DID
Went to the temple
Had an intercambio in San Carlos (another small town) with Elder Williams. We arrived in Chile the same time. He's awesome.

OUR TWO MIRACLE FRIENDS:
We have 2 friends that are going to get baptized in January!
Their names are Damodar, and José. And how we met the both of them is a miracle ngl (not gonna lie).
Damodar: so we had to go to Chillan, (the bigger city). We were going to go the temple the next day early in the morning, and we were just going to hope for a bus in the morning, but we were like nah, we should spend the night with the ZL's in Chillan and get on the bus with them in the morning to the temple to be sure. So we got to Chillan, at like 8:30 P.M and we get a call from the ZL's that they were in a family home evening with someone from Coihueco who wanted to get baptized. So we were like, we gotta go. The problem was they were on the other side of Chillan so we start running, in suits, in like 90 degree weather. Luckily, a member in the ward in Chillan stopped and drove us to the house. But, then we got to meet him, and he's really cool. He thought it was crazy that they (the ZL's) were talking about other missionaries that were going to teach him, and we just spawn in (show up).
Jose: we were waiting in the park to have a lesson with one of the recent converts, and this guy who may have been a little faded (drunk or high) started talking to us about Trump, and of course we were like, we don't care about Trump, Jesus is better. Then he starts talking to us about prophets, if there was a prophet on the earth. At this point we knew that our lesson wasn't going to show up, and so we started talking to him about the restoration a little, and elder Jensen was like bruh what you doing-he's high---Boom flash forward a week. He came to church, accepted to be baptized and is the process of quitting smoking!
PLEASE STOP ASKING ME ABOUT TRUMP:
We don't (and can't) watch news, but stuff went down with Trump and Venezuela. I don't know if y'all know this about South America, but there are so many Venezuelans in like every single South American country 
, We were in like the main plaza and like 20 Venezuelans were celebrating the liberating of their country . But like 47 people have asked us about Donald Trump this week- thus the title of the email ( I haven't been in my country for a while)
Being the New Year, I know that a lot of you guys are setting new goals and resolutions, which is awesome! One of my goals this New Year is to study a christlike attribute every month! I want to share with all y'all a scripture about how Jesus Christ can help us in every goal, and how he can make more of us and help us to be the best version of ourselves. Ether 12:27, and I want to invite you guys to not forget Jesus when setting your New Year's goals!

) and played some funny charades. It was pretty fun. The zone Chillán Ñuble is pretty awesome (not as good as Talcahauno, but still). Elder Jensen and I went to McDonalds after.
, It was pretty good. We had a lesson with a flat earther and the moon landing is fake guy. Had another lesson with a deaf lady. We had to yell so she could hear us. Ate pizza for the first time in a month which was elite.
