FAV GC talk/spiritual thought:
I was only able to watch 1 session all the way through in English, so this next week or so I'm going to listen to them all, but -
One of my favorite talks in general conference was by Elder Stevenson (listened to this in English
) about the Be Attitudes "blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God" (I had just read the sermon on the mount out loud in Spanish like 2 hours earlier
)

)But I liked this a lot. I liked how he started with the first step of peace is in your own heart. And then you can have peace in your family, and then hopefully you can try to find it in your community.
But, I wish the whole world would listen to this talk and apply the Savior's counsel in their lives.
BUT, I can't control others
, so I will apply this counsel on my mission and for the rest of my life. (I'm sure I will get a companion that will force me to apply this, not my king Elder Macais. We be homies shoutout fr.) (fr mean's for real)
